On July 28, 2008, Royal Bank of Canada issued AUD 100,000,000 8.50 per cent. Deposit Notes due July 2011 under its US$40,000,000,000 Programme for the Issuance of Notes. The Notes were listed on the London Stock Exchange's Regulated Market. The Notes were offered by an underwriting syndicate lead by Royal Bank of Canada Europe Limited and including The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Daiwa Securities SMBC Europe Limited and Zurich Cantonalbank.
