Robert Percival est coresponsable de nos équipes Technologie et Impartition. Il se consacre principalement aux opérations touchant les sociétés et aux opérations commerciales en matière de technologie de l'information et de commerce électronique. Il possède une vaste expérience de la prestation de conseils à des clients sur de nombreux aspects d'opérations complexes touchant la technologie de l'information et la propriété intellectuelle, comme les projets d'impartition, les conventions d'approvisionnement, les alliances stratégiques et les coentreprises en matière de technologie, l'acquisition et le transfert de technologies, l'octroi de licences, les ententes de distribution, les logiciels source ouverte, le développement technologique, les services de conseils, la protection de la vie privée et des données, le commerce électronique et l'Internet.

Avant de faire carrière en droit, M. Percival a occupé des fonctions en gestion des affaires dans le secteur des technologies de l'information. Grâce à son expérience au sein d'entreprises du secteur de la technologie de l'information, il possède une connaissance approfondie de l'industrie, ce qui lui permet de répondre aux besoins juridiques des clients selon une perspective et une approche pratiques, axées sur les affaires.

M. Percival est professeur adjoint à la Faculté de droit de l'université de Victoria (droit de l'Internet et des technologies de l'information).
