Ogilvy Renault's internationally recognized life sciences team is top-notch in Canada, according to a leading international legal publication. Five lawyers, the most of any Canadian firm, are ranked in The International Who's Who of Life Sciences Lawyers 2008 published in June. The leading lawyers were selected based on comprehensive survey work with general counsel and life sciences lawyers in private practice worldwide.
The Ogilvy Renault lawyers recognized are Judith Robinson, Patrick Kierans, Penny Bonner, Brian Gray and William McNamara. Among the comments listed in the directory included one for Mr. Kierans who is "well regarded as being in the top-tier of IP litigators in Toronto." Also noteworthy was Ms. Bonner, chair of the Life Sciences team, who "knows all there is to know about regulatory law."
