Ogilvy Renault is proud to have 37 of its lawyers recognized by the 2008 Chambers Global Guide to the world's leading lawyers. This is a jump from 29 in last year's guide
One of the highlights in this year's guide is Ogilvy Renault's growing strength in corporate/M&A law. Nine lawyers from the firm are listed in this area (up from six last year). As well, Ogilvy Renault continues to be the only Canadian law firm in three consecutive years to be ranked globally in project finance.
This year's guide also commented on the following Ogilvy Renault practice areas:
- Corporate/M&A law-a "high-calibre work and responsiveness-a great group from all perspectives"
- Employment and labour law-one of Canada's largest employment and labour teams, viewed as "leaders in the field"
- Intellectual property-the firm is "renowned for its intellectual property results in Canada, the US and abroad"
