Ranked Among Canada's Top 40 Under 40

We are proud to announce that four Ogilvy Renault lawyers are among the finalists and two are recipients of Lexpert's Top 40 Lawyers and Corporate Counsel Under 40 award. The awards were handed out at a gala event in Toronto on Nov. 21, 2007.
The two recipients are Jane Caskey, partner and chair of the Toronto intellectual property group, and Martin Valasek, partner in the litigation group in the Montréal office. Jane and Martin are recognized not only for their expertise, but also for the exceptional confidence and trust they inspire in both colleagues and clients alike.
Orestes Pasparakis, partner in the litigation group in Toronto, and Geoffrey Gilbert, partner in the business law group in Ottawa, were finalists for the award.
An advisory board of 30 lawyers and general counsel from a variety of firms, including Ogilvy Renault's senior partner Norman Steinberg, made the final selections.Among the winners are also two clients of the firm-Marie-Josée Lapierre of Yellow Pages Group and François Ouellette of Bombardier Aerospace.
