Patricia Seguin

Biography

Patricia Seguin manages large national and international trade-mark portfolios, prosecutes trade-mark applications, represents clients before the Opposition Board and provides advice and opinions on trade-mark registrability and infringement. Ms. Seguin is Chair of our Trade-marks Team.

Ms. Seguin drafts and prosecutes several hundred trade-mark applications every year and is involved in strategic IP planning for many clients. She also participates in due diligence analysis of transactions in which trade-marks are the principal asset.

Ms. Seguin regularly assists branding, marketing and R&D teams of large and emerging companies seeking to secure and maximize the value of their intellectual property rights. Ms. Seguin helps in-house counsel effectively manage trade-mark portfolios.
