Marc S. Benoît

Biography

Marc Benoît's area of practice is employment and labour law. More specifically, he advises employers in the private and public sectors on a wide range of employment issues, including hiring, employment terminations, employment standard issues, wrongful dismissals, employment contracts and policies, occupational health and safety, workplace harassment, human rights, collective agreement interpretation and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions and plant closings.

Mr. Benoît regularly represents employers before arbitration boards, administrative tribunals, human rights commissions and tribunals. He also represents them in and conducts conciliation and mediation on their behalf.

Mr. Benoît also appears in employment-related civil actions and judicial review applications before the Quebec Superior Court and the Quebec Court of Appeal.
