Biography
Louise G. Bernier joined the firm after over 14 years of corporate practice as a patent agent in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. For close to 10 years, she headed the patent department at Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd., where she managed a large portfolio of international patent applications in the areas of medicinal chemistry and biological sciences. Ms. Bernier was one of the first Registered Patent Agents in Quebec to focus on biotechnology.
During her graduate studies, Ms. Bernier received a scholarship from the Medical Research Council of Canada. She has also written several scientific publications.
