Louis J. Gouin

Biography

Louis J. Gouin has a wealth of expertise in financing security, debt restructuring and insolvency. His vast experience enables him to advise creditors on a day-to-day basis on the planning and structuring of financing as well as the realization of security. He also acts in major commercial reorganization and debt restructuring for debtors in financial difficulties.

As a member of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Advisory Committee, Mr. Gouin played an active role in formulating amendments to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act which were ultimately adopted.
