Laetitia Caporicci

Biography

Laetitia Caporicci practises in all areas of intellectual property, including patent, trade-mark and copyright litigation, the management of intellectual property portfolios and the commercialization of intellectual property rights.

Ms. Caporicci has experience in a variety of issues involving the life sciences, information technology and manufacturing industries, including licensing, co-development, material transfer, manufacturing and distribution agreements as well as proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. She also counsels clients to ensure that they comply with the Food and Drug Regulations and the guidelines of the Health Products and Food Branch of the Department of Health.

Prior to her law studies, Ms. Caporicci earned a master's degree in international health policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her thesis focused on the pricing and reimbursement of pharmaceuticals. She also worked as an ombudsman at a hospital in Montréal.

She is fluent in French and English and speaks Italian.
