Biography
James Padwick's practice focuses on banking, finance, and corporate commercial matters concerning the energy industry. In his corporate banking practice, he acts for lenders, borrowers and issuers involved in domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including secured and unsecured financings of private and public corporations, project financings, syndicated lending, asset-based financings, lease financings, senior and subordinated debt financings, and other structured financing arrangements. Mr. Padwick brings a deeper understanding of corporate and securities matters through his Level I CFA experience and his MBA (Finance).
Building on his experience at an international energy and emissions brokerage and consultancy firm, Mr. Padwick advises on various aspects of renewable energy industry and has worked on all stages of wind power development (developer, land owner, lender, government, service provider). His practice also involves advising on emissions, various electricity issues and other regulatory matters.
