James R. Cade

Biography

James Cade practises general corporate and commercial law and provides counsel to corporations and their directors and shareholders. He is Chair of our Corporate and Commercial Team.

Mr. Cade's practice includes providing services to both foreign and Canadian entities with respect to commercial relationships and contracts, including service agreements, joint venture and teaming agreements and sale of goods agreements. In addition, he advises businesses on early stage organization and financing, shareholder relationships, including shareholder disputes, and private company reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. His experience covers a broad range of industries, such as financial services, manufacturing and technology (software, biotechnology and medical devices).
