Biography

Carl Tremblay focuses on corporate and technology law, particularly private and public financings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and business restructurings. He has acted in private placements and public offerings for both established and start-up technology companies. He also acts occasionally for investors in private placements and has assisted a number of research centres in the Québec region in setting up spin-off companies. Mr. Tremblay is an advisor to the boards of directors of a number of Quebec-based technology companies.

Mr. Tremblay is the Managing Partner of our Québec office.

  • Acquisition by Nstein Technologies Inc. of the French company Société Nouvelle EuroCortex SAS
  • Sale of Virocell Inc. to the Swedish company LTB4
  • Financing by National Bank of Canada of a take-over bid by Pan-O-Lac Ltée for Amisk Inc.
