Biography
Carl Tremblay focuses on corporate and technology law, particularly private and public financings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and business restructurings. He has acted in private placements and public offerings for both established and start-up technology companies. He also acts occasionally for investors in private placements and has assisted a number of research centres in the Québec region in setting up spin-off companies. Mr. Tremblay is an advisor to the boards of directors of a number of Quebec-based technology companies.
Mr. Tremblay is the Managing Partner of our Québec office.

- The sale of Copernic Technologies Inc. to Mamma.com for $28 million
- The sale of Biogénie S.R.D.C. Inc. to Environmental Management Solutions Inc. for $55 million
- Various acquisitions by Lyrtech Inc., including the acquisition of Innovator Electronic Assembly Inc. and associated financing for an aggregate amount of $26 million
- Various acquisitions by Nstein Technologies Inc., including the acquisition of the French company Société Nouvelle EuroCortex SAS
- The sale of Virocell Inc. to the Swedish company LTB4
- The financing by National Bank of Canada of a take-over bid by Pan-O-Lac Ltée for the publicly traded company Amisk Inc.
- The acquisition by Roche Ltée of a substantial part of the assets of the publicly traded company Groupe Conseil Omnitech inc.
