Ogilvy Renault's Robert Mitchell: Recipient of the 2004 International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys Award

Montréal - Ogilvy Renault extends a warm congratulations to Robert Mitchell, patent agent and senior partner in the firm's Intellectual Property group, on receiving the Peter Kirby Memorial Award by the Canadian Group of the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI). Mr. Mitchell received the award on March 12, 2004 at the FICPI Canada annual meeting, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the patent profession in Canada and abroad. With over 35 years of experience, Mr. Mitchell has been involved in several ground-breaking patent and industrial design files. He is a Past-President of FICPI Canada and a Past President of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC). "On behalf of our entire firm, I would like to congratulate Mr. Mitchell on this well-deserved award," said Malcolm E. McLeod, National Chair of Ogilvy Renault's Intellectual Property Group. FICPI is an organization for patent and trade-mark professionals in private practice whose primary objective is to enhance international cooperation within the profession and to promote the exchange of information and facilitate business relations between its 4000 members in 70 countries.
