Ogilvy Renault's International Trade Team Now the Largest in Canada

Ottawa - Ogilvy Renault announced today that Greg Somers, Benjamin Bedard and Paul Conlin have joined the firm's trade and regulatory law practice. These new additions solidify Ogilvy Renault's position as the leading Canadian firm in the areas of international trade, and customs and federal government procurement law. All three lawyers will be based in Ogilvy Renault's Ottawa office.

Mr. Somers joins Ogilvy Renault's litigation group as a partner advising private sector and government clients on international trade law, World Trade Organization (WTO) disputes and trade remedies.  Mr. Somers also has extensive experience in advising and representing clients in regard to customs matters and government procurement. Mr. Bedard and Mr. Conlin join Ogilvy Renault as associates in the litigation group. Mr. Bedard's practice focuses on international trade, customs and transportation law. Mr. Conlin's practice focuses on regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on government procurement and international trade law.
