Ogilvy Renault Announces New Executive Appointments

Montréal and Toronto, July 28, 2008 - Ogilvy Renault is pleased to announce three new executive appointments at the firm-Renaud Coulombe to National Chair, Business Law; John West to Managing Partner, Toronto; and Carl Tremblay to Managing Partner, Québec. The appointments are effective August 1, 2008.

Renaud Coulombe has served as the Local Chair for Ogilvy Renault's Montréal Business Law group for the past three years. He will work with the group's city chairs to further enhance the firm's national business law practice. Renaud practises primarily in corporate and securities law and mergers and acquisitions. He is ranked as a Leading Practitioner in Canada in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Securities and Corporate Mid-Market by Lexpert's Canadian Legal Directory.
John West has served as National Chair of our Employment and Labour Law group for the past four years. He has proven to be a talented leader and will work closely with our Toronto leadership team to further grow our Toronto office. John is ranked in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2007 and the Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada.
Carl Tremblay has served as a member of our Business Law group and the partner responsible for the Québec office's development and marketing plan for the past several years. He has worked closely with our Québec leadership team in promoting Ogilvy Renault as the top business law firm in the Québec market. Carl is very involved in the Québec business community. He is a member of various boards, including the Jean Lesage International Airport's board of directors.
