Power House Jim Hodgson joins Ogilvy Renault's Litigation Group

Toronto, April 4, 2008 - Ogilvy Renault is very pleased to announce the addition of Jim Hodgson as a new partner. He will join our Litigation group in Toronto, adding tremendous bench strength as we continue to build and expand our Toronto practice.
Jim is currently a partner at Hodgson Shields, a leading Toronto litigation boutique. He will be joined at Ogilvy Renault by two associates Robert Blair and Jeff Percival. His practice focuses on litigation relating to shareholder rights and commercial disputes as well as on class actions, construction law, product liability and professional liability. Jim has appeared as lead counsel in a wide variety of high profile cases.
Jim is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been certified as a specialist in civil litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1990. He was named as one of "Canada's Leading Litigation Lawyers" by LEXPERT Magazine in November 2007 and is highly ranked in Lexpert Legal Directory. The 2008 Chambers Global Client's Guide ranks Jim as a leading dispute resolution lawyer in Ontario.
