Partnering in the Success of our Clients: Ogilvy Renault Welcomes Seven New Partners

Ogilvy Renault LLP is proud to announce that seven lawyers and agents have been appointed partners of the firm, effective January 1.
"Our new partners are seven very talented people who will become leaders of the firm," said John Coleman, Managing Partner of the firm. "We are thrilled to welcome all of them to Ogilvy Renault's partnership."

MONTRÉAL
Dominic Belley - Business Law
Mr. Belley practises tax law, focusing on tax litigation as it relates to income tax and commodity taxes. He was named the 2009 Lawyer of the Year - Civil and Commercial Litigation by the Young Bar Association of Montréal. He is a graduate of McGill University.
Azim Hussain - Litigation
Mr. Hussain practises in the areas of general commercial litigation/arbitration, construction law and constitutional law. He has particular experience in multijurisdictional arbitration and litigation regarding foreign states, including the related issues of foreign state immunity and private international law. He graduated from McGill University.
Nicolas Labrecque - Business Law
Mr. Labrecque's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law and commercial real estate. He is Montréal Chair of our Students Committee and Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers and Law Students Section at the Inter-American Bar Association. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa.
Pierre T. Nguyen - Intellectual Property
Mr. Nguyen is a patent agent whose practice focuses on all aspects of management of patent and industrial design portfolios, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications. He has a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
QUÉBEC
Charles Taschereau - Litigation
Mr. Taschereau practises in the areas of construction, insurance and civil and commercial litigation. He frequently represents construction companies, manufacturers, insurers and contracting authorities. He has a common law degree from Queen's University as well as a civil law degree from Université de Sherbrooke.
TORONTO
Eric Reither - Business Law
Mr. Reither practises primarily in the areas of corporate and securities law. He assists on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, take-over bids, public and private financings, strategic alliances, shareholder and partnership matters and corporate reorganizations. He has won several professional and academic awards over his career. Mr. Reither graduated from the University of Windsor.
Jennifer Stam - Business Law
Ms. Stam practises in the area of corporate insolvency and restructuring. She was a key member of the Ogilvy Renault team that has acted as Canadian counsel to Nortel throughout its multi-jurisdictional insolvency and restructuring proceedings. Other recent engagements include insolvency proceedings in the consumer products, banking, industrial, construction, retail and technology sectors. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.
