Royal Jubilee Hospital Public-Private Partnership Project Financed for $206M

On July 18, 2008 ISL Health (Victoria) General Partnership ("ISL") entered into the project agreement (the "Project Agreement") with the Vancouver Island Health Authority ("VIHA") and achieved financial close in respect of the Royal Jubilee Hospital project, a Design, Build, Finance, and Maintain ("DBFM") Public Private Partnership ("P3") for a new 500 bed inpatient accommodation building (the "Facility")to be located on the campus of the existing Royal Jubilee Hospital located in Victoria, British Columbia (the "Project"). The Project Agreement requires ISL to design, build and finance the Facility and maintain it and provide facilities management services for a period of 30 years from service commencement.
Dexia Crédit Local S.A. and Depfa Bank plc who provided the $206,000,000 financing for the Project were represented by Ogilvy Renault LLP with a team comprised of Nicholas Williams (Projects and Project Finance), Sandra Nissan (Projects and Project Finance), John Naccarato (Construction), Chris Hall (Projects and Project Finance), Ciprian Gligor (Projects and Project Finance), Alana Hunt (Debt Finance) and Mary Kelly (Debt Finance).
