On May 30, 2008, South Asia Energy Management Systems, Inc. ("South Asia") closed a term loan credit facility arranged by Jacob & Company Securities Inc. ("Jacob & Co."). The two lenders were Skyberry Holdings Ltd., a Bahamian fund for US$1.875 million; and Exploration Capital Partners 1998-B Limited Partnership, a Californian fund, for US$1.875 million. The funds will be used by South Asia for specific project financing.
Jacob & Co. acted as arranger of the credit facility pursuant to an Agency Agreement entered into with South Asia on April 11, 2008.
Jacob & Co. was represented by Ogilvy Renault LLP with a team comprised of Pierre-Paul Henrie, Walied Soliman and Andrea Brewer.
