On June 2, 2008 Kendle International Inc. ("Kendle"), a leading global full-service clinical research organization ("CRO"), completed its acquisition of DecisionLine Clinical Research Corporation ("DecisionLine"), through a wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, for an undisclosed cash amount.  DecisionLine is an early phase CRO specializing in conducting Phase I studies involving the measurement of pharmacodynamic effects of central nervous system drugs.  Kendle's acquisition of DecisionLine represents a significant step in building Kendle's global capabilities for exploration of early phase drug candidates and supports its strategic initiative to drive the growth of its Phase I business.
