On May 14, 2008, Transcontinental Inc. amended and restated its syndicated credit facility in the amount of $550,000,000 with Royal Bank of Canada acting as administrative agent, RBC Capital Markets acting as Arranger, National Bank of Canada and The Bank of Nova Scotia acting as Co-Syndication Agents, and the financial institutions party thereto as lenders.

The largest printer in Canada and sixth-largest in North America, Transcontinental is also the country's leading publisher of consumer magazines and French-language educational resources, and its second-largest community newspaper publisher.
