Ogilvy Renault acted as counsel to Infrastructure Ontario in a design-build-finance-maintain (DBFM) transaction for a new Durham Courthouse comprised of 33 courtrooms, three motions rooms, and two conference/settlement rooms. This is the first courthouse DBFM transaction in Ontario to achieve financial close and is one of the many infrastructure renewal projects facilitated under ReNew Ontario, the Ontario Government's five-year public infrastructure investment plan worth over $30 billion.
