On March 12, 2010, Æterna Zentaris Inc. filed with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities a short form base shelf prospectus qualifying the offering, sale and issuance of common shares and warrants to purchase common shares of its share capital for a maximum aggregate offering price of US$60 million and a concurrent registration statement on Form F-3 filed with the SEC to register US$60 million of common shares and warrants.
